NEW! Low Rowleth is a wonderfully snug studio flat in Gunnerside and offers an ideal base from which to explore the many attractions of Swaledale. Sympathetically renovated to provide all the comforts of home in a lovely studio flat, you will find Low Rowleth a perfect place to stay. Available separately or as an annexe to High Rowleth, Low Rowleth is well-equipped, extremely comfortable and is a marvellous home from home to return to following a day's hiking or exploration of the beautiful Yorkshire Dales!

Week bookings run from Saturday to Saturday.

If required, Low Rowleth can be booked together with High Rowleth to provide accommodation for two extra people.

Cosy bolthole for two in the beautiful surroundings of Swaledale

Gunnerside is the gateway to Upper Swaledale, its quaint Dales stone cottages creating a wonderfully old-fashioned atmosphere. The village pub and café / bistro serve good food (bistro open Wednesdays and Saturdays, book in advance) and you can buy ice-creams in summer at the Smithy Museum. A wonderful variety of walks and treks start and end in the village, with local shops, craft shops, galleries, museums, pubs, tearooms and an open farm in nearby villages. Post office, Friday market, organic bakery, garage, local shops and recycling facilites available at Reeth, 6 miles. Bike hire at Fremington, 7 miles. Orange (only) mobile (patchy) reception.

Sleeps 2 on a futon in living room, bed needs making up each night.
Linen is not included.
Oil-filled electric heaters.
Compact shower room.
Small kitchen (no microwave, as there is no room).
Parking on road opposite.

If required, Cat Hole Cottages can provide a linen/towel hire service. Bedlinen hire is £5 per person, towel hire is £3 per person, both bedlinen and towels £8 per person - please enquire when booking.
